Yes, we are ISO certified under ISO 13485. This certification confirms that we follow an internationally recognized quality management system specifically designed for medical devices. It ensures we use documented, controlled, and repeatable processes to design, build, and service our products, supporting safety, consistency, and regulatory compliance. Our processes are regularly reviewed by an accredited third-party auditor, so customers can trust that our products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

We recommend placing the chair in full recline (manual or power) before using the Trendelenburg function.

Weight limits range from 275–350 lbs. for standard-size recliners and 450–500 lbs. for XL (bariatric) models, depending on the specific chair. Please speak with your sales representative for details on individual models.
No. There is no risk of burns. The unit does not reach temperatures high enough to cause injury, and it automatically shuts off after 30 minutes.

Shipping

Champion offers several flexible delivery options to meet your needs. We can ship through your preferred carrier for dock pickup, or we can arrange door-to-door delivery using our trusted LTL partner. Door-to-door delivery requires either a truck-height receiving dock or a designated lift gate. In these cases, your team will be responsible for bringing the product inside and removing it from its packaging.

For a more hands-off experience, we also offer White Glove delivery, which includes delivery into your facility, unloading, unboxing, placement, and removal of all packaging materials. Home delivery and international shipping options are also available.

Cleaning

Many of our fabric brand guidelines can be found here. If your fabric is not listed, please ask your sales representative for information on the specific fabrics you are interested in.

In general, our fabrics are selected to be compatible with common healthcare sanitizing products, including 10% bleach solutions, alcohol, and “quat” cleaners such as CaviCide wipes and sprays. We recommend wiping surfaces with plain water after each round of sanitizing to reduce chemical residue buildup, which can shorten the fabric’s lifespan. The same wipe-down procedure is recommended for side tables.

Yes. However, to help extend the life of side tables, we recommend performing a warm-water rinse once per week.

Warranty & Repair

Every Champion product includes a Standard Warranty, which varies by product type and begins on the date of shipment. You can view your product’s Standard Warranty here.

Enhanced Warranties are optional upgrades that can be purchased at the time of your original order or within four (4) years of owning your chair(s). Champion offers a 5-Year Enhanced Warranty—available when purchased within one year of the original chair purchase—that provides full, top-to-bottom coverage, including mechanical and electrical components, as well as annual on-site preventative maintenance to deep clean, inspect upholstery, and keep your chair in optimal working condition.

Enhanced Warranties purchased between years one and four include three (3) years of the same comprehensive coverage.

Champion has its own national service team, Champion Service+, which can handle all service needs, from mechanical repairs and vinyl replacement to comprehensive preventative maintenance. Our factory-trained technicians keep common parts in stock locally to restore your chairs to optimal condition as quickly as possible.
